VIDEO + METADATA + MAP CONTEXT
See the footage. Find its place.
Explore Geospatial Full Motion Video with KLV metadata inspection, map overlays, persistent annotations and geographic search. Connect a recorded moment to its spatial context when the source provides usable timing and footprint metadata.
FEATURE / 16
Geospatial Full Motion Video
- KLV metadata and timing
- Map overlays and annotations
- Find footage by place and time
- VMTI and AI-assisted review
CAPABILITIES
Move between the frame and the map.
Use the video together with its actual telemetry, timing and reported footprint. The viewer makes those inputs part of the review instead of assuming every clip is geospatially usable.
KLV metadata and timing
Extract available metadata and inspect capture time, telemetry and footprint coverage. Recorded frame-associated geographic work requires usable transport timing.
Map overlays and annotations
Connect the viewer to the map, inspect reported tracks and footprints, and create persistent geographic annotations when current timed corners are available.
Find footage by place and time
Search prepared recordings using a map area and optional capture-UTC range. Open a matching segment and retain it as a review bookmark.
VMTI and AI-assisted review
Review embedded VMTI boxes alongside separate configured AI detections. Use independent timeline lanes for events and bookmarks; analyst review remains essential.
DJI-to-MISB conversion
Bring supported DJI video and SRT/CSV telemetry sidecars into the conversion workflow. The available source metadata determines the resulting geographic context.
Geospatial review packages
Export notes, raw and supported annotated stills, selected clips, telemetry, footprints and annotation GeoJSON. A manifest records source and package content hashes.
THE WORKFLOW
A clear path through the work.
Prepare
01
Inspect the recording and extract telemetry.
Locate
02
Find footage by area, time or event.
Interpret
03
Review the frame with its geographic context.
Package
04
Share the selected evidence and metadata.
THE RESULT
A review that preserves the relationship to the source.
Combine saved bookmarks, observations and map context with the original recording. Portable HTML reports make a selected review accessible while telemetry and GeoJSON retain useful spatial context for further work.
WHAT YOUR TEAM TAKES FORWARD
- Geographic discovery across prepared recorded footage
- Saved spatial annotations and event-oriented review
- Portable media and geospatial review outputs
AVAILABILITY & WORKFLOW SCOPE
Live arrival-time telemetry is not synchronized to buffered live video, so it cannot supply frame-accurate geographic drawing. Corner projection and mosaics are approximate, not terrain-orthorectified products. Re-encoded review clips and stabilized/browser copies are video-only; their original KLV is not attached to changed pixels.
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
A few useful details.
Can every video provide coordinates for a frame?
No. Geographic drawing needs usable transport-timed metadata and valid, current footprint corners. Video-only or capture-relative sources still support ordinary review.
Can I create annotations on live buffered video?
The documented live telemetry path does not align decoded video timestamps with metadata. Live map observations therefore do not enable frame-associated geographic drawing.
Is a package hash manifest a digital signature?
No. Hashes help identify content changes and relate a package to its source. They do not establish a digital signature or a complete agency evidence-custody system.
