AIRCRAFT TELEMETRY · MISSION HANDOFF · QUALIFIED COMMANDS
Connect the aircraft to the operational picture.
Bring supported PX4 and ArduPilot MAVLink telemetry into map-based monitoring. Link aircraft observations with team awareness, and evaluate mission, payload and command workflows for an explicitly qualified aircraft configuration.
FEATURE / 17
MAVLink integration
- Live aircraft telemetry
- TAK / CoT track projection
- Mission waypoint handoff
- Payload workflows
CAPABILITIES
From telemetry to a deliberate aircraft handoff.
Monitoring and aircraft commands have different requirements. Start with the source and connection profile, then qualify the exact functions required for the mission.
Live aircraft telemetry
Receive supported MAVLink 1/2 observations over configured UDP/TCP connections and view aircraft position and heading in the map context.
TAK / CoT track projection
Republish configured friendly-UAS observations into the TAK operational picture so aircraft and participating field teams can be viewed together.
Mission waypoint handoff
Transfer a planned mission using the request/acknowledgment exchange. Review the aircraft's height reference and mission acceptance before a separate start decision.
Payload workflows
The engine provides gated gimbal pointing, camera-mode and zoom command paths. Supported behavior depends on the aircraft and payload configuration.
RTK correction relay
Route a configured NTRIP/RTCM feed through the supported MAVLink correction path. Receiving bytes is separate from confirming the aircraft has applied corrections.
Signed, scoped commands
Command paths require enabled commands, a qualified connection profile, healthy signing state and a fresh authenticated heartbeat, plus applicable operator authorization.
THE WORKFLOW
A clear path through the work.
Configure
01
Select the aircraft and transport profile.
Observe
02
Review telemetry freshness and map context.
Qualify
03
Validate the exact mission and command behavior.
Handoff
04
Confirm transfer and aircraft-observed state.
THE RESULT
Keep aircraft observations connected to the team.
Use telemetry, mission context and authorized team positions to understand the operation. Treat command acceptance and observed aircraft state as distinct parts of the workflow.
WHAT YOUR TEAM TAKES FORWARD
- Aircraft telemetry in spatial context
- Mission and payload paths for qualified configurations
- TAK awareness alongside UAS observations
AVAILABILITY & WORKFLOW SCOPE
Flight commands are disabled by default. A saved profile or simulator test is not aircraft qualification; hardware, firmware, transport and failsafe behavior require acceptance. MAVLink telemetry and low-level commands do not establish a production-qualified DFR launch/control system.
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
A few useful details.
Can every MAVLink aircraft be controlled immediately?
No. Commands are gated and disabled by default. The exact aircraft, firmware, transport, command behavior and failsafes must be qualified before enablement.
Does a mission ACK mean the flight completed?
No. An acknowledgment is a transfer or command result. Flight progress and outcome must be determined from the aircraft's observed state.
Does MAVLink signing encrypt the link?
No. The documented signing implementation authenticates messages and checks freshness; encryption is a separate deployment consideration.
